Use MurmurScribe only with recordings you have permission to process. Automatic transcripts are drafts that need human review.
Your recordings and responsibility
You retain your rights in the material you process. You are responsible for permission to record, transcribe and share it. The app does not determine whether consent or organizational approval is required for your circumstances.
Accuracy and availability
Speech recognition can omit words, invent words and misidentify names. Review output against the recording. This is not a certified transcription service, clinical system or legal record service. Do not rely on it as the sole basis for a consequential decision.
The free service is provided as available without a promised uptime, processing speed or accuracy level. Browser features and memory limit what can run. Keep your own copies of important files. Local browser storage is not a backup service.
Resources and third-party services
Articles explain general workflows and cite dated sources. Vendor prices and features can change. Linked third-party sites have their own terms. We do not claim affiliation with competitors or endorsement by model publishers.
