The local transcription app is free. You can edit and export a transcript without an account or payment.
Free today
Choose a recording, record a microphone, run an available local model, edit the resulting text, and export it. Subtitle conversion and timing checks are also available. There is no product minutes cap and no credit counter to refill.
Free does not mean your device has unlimited resources. The model download uses bandwidth and browser storage. Inference uses memory and processing power. A long recording or a larger model may exceed what a phone or an older laptop can handle. Try a representative short passage before committing to a long job.
What the current app includes
The editor supports segment timestamps, playback seeking, text correction and manually entered speaker labels. Find and replace helps correct repeated spellings. Exports include plain text, subtitle formats, structured transcript data and an editable document. Saved work stays in the local browser when storage is available.
The product does not currently provide meeting bots, automatic speaker identification, a shared workspace, or paid human review. Those needs may be better served by another product. Our comparison pages describe those differences using official sources rather than treating every workflow as identical.
How future pricing will work
Pro is in development. The waitlist is a way to hear about availability, not a purchase or a reservation of a particular price. We will describe the actual features and billing terms before asking anyone to pay. No payment information is collected here.
Joining the waitlist sends your email address to our server for availability updates. It does not send a recording or transcript. You can ask for the email to be removed by contacting us. If you only want to use the current free app, you do not need to join the list.
Choose a tool based on the work you need to finish. Local transcription is useful when you can review a draft on your device. A managed service can be more appropriate when delivery, collaboration or human checking is part of the job.
