If the team relies on live notes and a shared meeting archive, exporting a plain local transcript may create extra work. If only one person needs a private file draft, that broader meeting system may be unnecessary.

Use a saved meeting file when you need a private local draft. MurmurScribe does not join calls or identify speakers automatically. The local app downloads model files before inference and stores work only in the browser when storage is available. Export important results so they do not depend on a single browser profile.

A fair sample test

Take a meeting that includes a concrete decision and a follow-up. Compare how easily you can locate that exchange, identify who accepted the action, and share the reviewed record with a colleague.

Use the same authorized source recording for the comparison. Include difficult passages rather than choosing only a clean introduction. Review names, negations and overlapping speech against the audio. A fast draft is useful only if the remaining correction effort suits the job.
